How long does an eviction hearing last in Texas?

An eviction hearing in Texas may only last for a few minutes, but there is usually a long wait to have your case called. There will be many other eviction cases and traffic ticket cases will be set for trial on the same day as your eviction case. Additionally, there will most likely be other delays that occur routinely in the court system.

If you will be attending your eviction hearing, you should budget a full day to attend and reasonably expect that it will take 4-5 hours.  If you do not have the time, or patience, call us. We can act as your agent in court so that you do not have to attend.
